DEFENDANT GETS VERDICT IN DISCRIMINATION CASE

African American Timothy Tyrone Foster was convicted in 1987 for the murder of Queen Madge White. The jury that passed his judgement was all white. In what has become a high profile case regarding discrimination in jury selection, Twenty years ago, jurors who were black had a “b” marked by their name. As a result, Chief Justice John Roberts wrote in the 7-1 decision that the prosecution in Foster’s case showed a “concerted effort to keep black prospective jurors off the jury”. However, the decision does not acquit Foster; it merely gives him the right to go back to his home state of Georgia and appeal for a new trial. It was a kick to the groin of Thunder big Steven Adams by Warriors’ power forward Draymond Green. Obviously Adams’ teammates argue that the kick was intentional while Green’s teammates argue that it was just a reflex. If Green was found guilty of an intentional kick, he would be suspended for Game 4.

Karunanidhi backed up his complaint, asserting that Stalin had won 89 of the seats, qualifying him to sit in the front row as the DMK party leader. He went on to say that the DMK was insulted by the seating arrangement.

Best known for his iconic portrayal of James Bond, the 48-year-old British actor will be the star attraction at a charity football match between Bollywood celebrities and politicians in New Delhi on June 11. Sources attribute the Craig connection to Italian activist-diplomat Angelo Antonio Toriello, whose organisation, Humanicy, is spearheading the big ticket event along with its office-bearers in India. The program aims to highlight the role of culture and humanities in shaping diplomacy.
