ONLY 4 INDIANS IN FORBES -WORLD POWERFUL WOMEN LIST

The 2016 edition of Forbes's coveted 'World's 100 Most Powerful Women' list is out and it features only four Indian businesswomen, namely Arundhati Bhattacharya (rank 25), Chanda Kochhar (rank 40), Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw (rank 77), and Shobhana Bhartiya (rank 93). The German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, sits right at the top - making this her sixth consecutive win. She is closely followed by presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at rank 2 and US Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen at rank 3. "The 100 most powerful women on the list represent seven categories or power bases: billionaires, business, finance, media, politics, philanthropists and NGOs, and technology," reads Forbes's official statement released on June 6.
