AMERICANS ACCIDENTALLY CROSS CANADIAN BORDER

It’s an event that begs the question: “How?”. Over 1000 Americans were making merry on flotation devices in Michigan when nature decided another location was necessary. Strong winds pushed the nearly 1500 people to the other side of the Canadian border. The mass celebrations were part of the annual Port Huron float down. Many were floating around in dinghies, rafts and inner tubes, all “vehicles” with little to no human control. These folks were literally going with the flow. Sarnia police, where they washed up, and the Canadian Coast Guard and Red Cross all participated in the rescue effort.
