OAKLAND CITY COUNCIL PASSES GUN LAWS
The Oakland city council has unanimously passed a series of gun laws yesterday night. The move comes hours after President Barack Obama issued executive gun control measures from the White House. The new measures would ban all high capacity magazines. Gun owners will be required to safely store their guns in lock boxes both at home and in their cars. The council has agreed to ban unsecured concealable firearms, requiring all residents to keep guns in cars secured. The decisions come just a day after President Barack Obama unveiled an executive action to strengthen enforcement and control of firearms.
DONALD TRUMP QUESTIONS CITIZENSHIP OF TED CRUZ
Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has questioned the citizenship and eligibility of Ted Cruz. Trump feels Cruz is not eligible for the Presidential nomination because he was born in Canada. Cruz was born in Calgary to an American mother and a Cuban father. Legal experts believe Cruz meets the requirements to be a President. While Mr Trump leads most polls, several surveys show Cruz is the top choice of likely Republican voters. Trump had earlier questioned President Barack Obama's citizenship since Obama was born in Hawaii.

SECURITY SCARE NEAR PATHANKOT AIR BASE
A security scare caused panic in the Pathankot Air Force base causing panic yesterday around the area. A man was spotted with a suspicious bag but he was taken away after security forces did not find anything dangerous in his bag. According to a report in Times Now, the man was confronted by the security forces as he tried to move with the bag towards the Air Force station. Meanwhile investigating agencies are probing SP rank officer Salwinder Singh and have recreated the scene of his kidnapping. Singh had claimed he was kidnapped by five terrorists two days before the attack on the air base.
NETFLIX COMES TO INDIA
On-demand internet media streaming facility Netflix is entering the Indian market. The plans start from Rs 500 a month and go up to Rs 800. Ultra HD content is also available, but only in the premium plan. Netflix will provide local as well as international content. Netflix will also concentrate on developing its own original content. Netflix is available in more than 50 countries in the world currently.
