LAPTOP BELIEVED TO HAVE CONTAINED BOMB, CAUSING AN EXPLOSION
Somali intelligence officials reportedly say that two airport employees handled a laptop believed to have a bomb that later exploded Daallo Airlines Flight 3159. This information was discovered through airport security cameras. In the video two employees hand a laptop over to Abdullahi Abdisalam Borleh. He soon after boarded the plane where the bomb was set off. If the plane had reached cruising altitude with a pressurised cabin, the explosion would have been catastrophic. Since it was set off in low altitude Borleh was the only casualty.
