GOOGLE BOSS BECOMES THE HIGHEST-PAID CHIEF EXECUTIVE IN THE U.S.

A regulatory filing has revealed that Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, has been awarded $199 mn, thus making him the highest-paid Chief Executive in the U.S. The founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, have amassed fortunes of $34.6 bn and $33.9 bn, according to Forbes. The new award of shares takes Pichai's total stock value to approximately $650 mn. Pichai has previously worked in Engineering & Product Management at Applied Materials and as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company.

FBI OFFICIALLY ADMITS THAT HILLARY CLINTON IS UNDER INVESTIGATION

In a federal court filing, the FBI has confirmed that it is looking into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. In August, the State Department had asked the FBI for information about the investigation. However at that time, the FBI said it can neither confirm nor deny the existence of any investigation. Federal officials reportedly have strong evidence which shows that classified information may have been mishandled by Clinton. Meanwhile at the Justice Department, pressure is mounting on Attorney General Loretta Lynch to step aside for a Special Prosecutor.

U.S ISSUES WARNING OVER NORTH KOREA'S NUCLEAR BOMB

Top U.S. Intelligence officials have said that North Korea could soon have enough plutonium for nuclear weapons, after restarting one of its reactors. According to U.S. officials, North Korea has taken steps towards making an intercontinental ballistic missile system. The news comes days after after North Korea launched a long-range rocket; a form of banned missile technology. In January, North Korea had conducted its fourth nuclear test.

In some Entertainment News...According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, 27-year-old Bollywood star Anushka Sharma has reportedly split with her cricketer beau Virat Kohli. The tabloid also quoted a source as saying how Virat felt 'cloistered around his controlling girlfriend.' According to the report, Kohli chose to opt out of the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka to celebrate Valentine's Day with Anushka. However Anushka is busy shooting her upcoming film Sultan starring Salman Khan & has no time to spare. The couple have not commented on their relationship status officially.
