MITT ROMNEY: TRUMP IS A FRAUD

In an attack more potent than anything the Republican 2016 presidential candidates have unleashed, former presidential hopeful Mitt Romney called Trump a ‘phony’, and accused him of playing ‘members of the American public for suckers’. In a speech on Wednesday, Romney said that any of the other running candidates would make a better nominee than the New York businessman. He went on to add that the cornerstone of Trump’s campaign was dishonesty. Finally, Romney attacked Trump’s foreign policy, saying that his policy of killing terrorists’ families was dangerous and his idea of letting ISIS take out Syrian president Bashar al-Assad is the height of recklessness.

FAMILY FACES CONSEQUENCE OF FLINT WATER CRISIS

Flint, Michigan faces a severe problem: the contamination of their water. Flint residents have been unable to drink natural water from Flint due to the high concentration of lead that has polluted it. As a result, many are suffering from diseases. One such story comes from Nakiya Wakes, who moved to Flint in the hope of starting a new life in June 2014. A week after arriving in Flint, Wakes learned she was pregnant with twins. Five weeks into the pregnancy, she suffered a miscarriage. Then, well into her second trimester, she suffered a second miscarriage. Upon arriving home, Wakes found a government letter saying pregnant women and people over 55 should not be drinking the water. While it seems that the water would be the cause of her miscarriages, no one knows for sure.
