PRINCE CAUSE OF DEATH DETERMINED
Opioid fentanyl is a drug typically prescribed by doctors for cancer treatment. It can be made illegally and is responsible for an increase in overdose deaths in the United States. The drug is extremely potent, 20 to 50 times more powerful than heroin and up to 100 times more powerful than morphine. It is also what caused the late great rock star known as Prince to meet an all too early end. A medical examiner believes that Prince injected himself with opioid fentanyl, which resulted in his death. However, toxicology reports and the autopsy will not be released.
