UCLA SHOOTER HAD HIT LIST
In what is becoming a tragically common occurrence, the United States experienced another campus shooting on Wednesday. Students at UCLA were put on lockdown after Mainak Sarkar, a UCLA alum shot his former professor, William S Klug, dead in Klug’s fourth floor office. Sarkar then killed himself, keeping the kill count to just two people. Upon further investigation, police found a note in Sarkar’s house titled “Kill List”, detailing the names of three people who police assumed Sarkar tried to kill. Klug’s name was on the list, along with the name of a woman who lived in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Police found her dead in her apartment, shot in the same way that Klug was. The third person, another professor at UCLA, was off-campus and unharmed throughout these events.
