EURO 2016 TO FACE TIGHT SECURITY
The Euros are coming. This competition is one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year, barring the Champions League final. However, the host country, France, is bracing itself for the tightest security it has ever seen. After the Paris attacks in 2015, French authorities are taking no chances. Just days before the first game kicks off, Ukrainian officials say they have arrested a man who is alleged to have been plotting attacks against the Euro 2016 venues. French president Francois Hollande has acknowledged that guaranteeing 100% safety will be difficult, but he has assured the world that French police will be doing everything in their power to make the event secure.
