MVP TO SKIP RIO
Stephen Curry and the Warriors destroyed the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. However, Curry will not be bringing his talents to Rio this summer. In a statement on Monday, the Golden State Warriors’ point guard cited knee pain and rest as the reasons for his withdrawal from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. He has never participated in the Olympics, but has played for the U.S. National Team, winning gold medals in the FIBA World Cup twice.
