CLINTON WANTS TO GIVE AMERICA A RAISE
Hillary Clinton made history on Monday, becoming the Democratic Party’s presumptive presidential nominee. She is now touting another plan to further her legacy. According to several reports, middle class wages have stagnated while health care and college costs, among other things, have risen. Clinton has decried this phenomenon, saying it is indicative of the need for “growth and fairness” in our economy. Her plan to grow the economy includes raising the minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $12 an hour, along with increasing infrastructure spending and making it easier for women to work.
