OBAMA, MODI DISCUSS CLIMATE

Despite the threats from terror groups that come in everyday, governments still consider the climate one of the most prominent problems facing the world today. As such, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to President Barack Obama in the White House in order to take steps towards ratifying the Paris climate agreement. In a joint statement, India asserted that it would be working towards this “shared objective”. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said that this accord represents “a more ambitious goal then India had previously laid out in terms of their timing of signing onto the agreement”.
