Black market organ harvesting has become increasingly prolific in New Delhi. So far, police have arrested 10 people in connection with illicit kidney harvesting. However, they hit the proverbial jackpot after arresting the mastermind behind the scheme, Raju Ramakant Rao. Investigators are learning that Rao’s designs reached beyond just New Delhi. He had operations set up for the last year and a half in Kolkata and is suspected to have been involved in similar operations in two as yet unknown cities.
