DELTA TO RESUME FLIGHTS

A power outage early Monday morning caused Delta Airlines to ground hundreds of flights for nearly six hours, leaving hundreds of thousands of passengers without a flight. However, Delta lifted the grounding around 8:40 AM ET, warning passengers that flights will be delayed and canceled throughout the day. The power outage has inconvenienced passengers at all locations. New York’s LaGuardia airport saw a passenger who was set to leave half past 8 waiting for her flight at 10:00 AM. Delta expects the number of flights to grow from the 300 that it was as of 10:30 AM.
