TRUMP ADVISER RECANTS ON DEBT PLAN
The GOP’s presidential nominee, Donald Trump, once promised to wipe out the United States’ national debt in 8 years. America holds $19 trillion in debt, so some were skeptical about the New York magnate’s ability to do so. Among those who have declared it to be a near insurmountable task, is Trump adviser David Malpass. Malpass says that $19 trillion is no small amount, and to wipe it out in 4 years would essentially make it Mission Impossible 6. When asked why he no longer stood by this plan, Malpass attributed the tough nature of the primaries to his vacillations.
