MILWAUKEE PROTESTS TURN VIOLENT
Police brutality has headlined the last few weeks of current events, and Milwaukee has been the latest city to fall victim to the issue. Sylville Smith was shot on Saturday, and protests began just six hours after, with protesters hurling rocks, attacking police, and causing general mayhem within the city. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says that 4 officers were injured and 17 arrests were made. On the second night of protests, shots were fired, injuring at least two people, that the police know of. The increased violence included the torching of a police car, along with more hurling of rocks.
