CLIPPERS WILL DISPLAY CALIFORNIA HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL JERSEYS IN NEW ARENA
The Los Angeles Clippers are giving back to California with a new initiative announced on Tuesday, which involves all state high schools. As part of this initiative, when the Clippers' new $2 billion arena, the Intuit Dome, opens in August, the team plans to display basketball jerseys representing high schools from across the state.
The team is exploring innovative features for the arena's debut, such as "The Wall," an exclusive seating section accommodating 4,500 fans. However, those seated in "The Wall" must exclusively support the Clippers and are prohibited from cheering for or wearing gear representing opposing teams.
