EX-49ERS KICKER GOULD BECOMES HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL COACH
Robbie Gould, who spent 18 seasons as a kicker in the NFL, has transitioned into a new role as the head coach of the football team at Rolling Meadows, a high school in the northwest Chicago suburbs. Rolling Meadows has seen success in the past, boasting former 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as a notable alum from the class of 2010, but struggled to a 2-7 record last season.
Gould, who previously played for the Chicago Bears for 10 seasons and left as the franchise's all-time leading scorer, joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2017 and experienced a resurgence in his career. Known for his consistency and skill as a kicker, Gould brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his new role as a high school football coach.
