FELICIANO, 49ERS AGREE TO ONE-YEAR FREE-AGENT CONTRACT

The 49ers continued to address a key need with an unsurprising move on Friday. Offensive lineman Jon Feliciano has agreed to a one-year contract with the 49ers. Feliciano originally was a depth piece of the offensive line before taking over for Spencer Burford as the starter at right guard midway through the 2023 regular season, and 49ers general manager John Lynch was impressed with what he saw.

Lynch made it clear that the 49ers intended to re-sign Feliciano this offseason.“Absolutely,” Lynch said. “He played a really high level for us.” Feliciano started at right guard throughout the playoffs and even in Super Bowl LVIII before leaving the game with a pectoral muscle injury. Now the 32-year-old returns to San Francisco for his second season with the team and 10th in the NFL.
