FIRST INDIAN-AMERICAN JUDGE OF NEW YORK DISTRICT COURT, ARUN SUBRAMANIAN


Washington: Arun Subramanian was confirmed to be the district judge for the southern district of New York by the U.S. Senate on Tuesday. He will be the first south Asian judge to serve as a judge in this court and confirmed his nomination with a vote of 58-37.
