INDIA BEAT MALAYSIA 4-0 IN OPENER AHEAD OF 2ND MATCH AGAINST SOUTH KOREA IN ASIAN CHAMPIONS TROPHY

India began their campaign in the Asian Champions Trophy in style as they beat Malaysia 4-0 at the Rajgir Sports Complex here on Monday. Sangita Kumari scored twice while Preeti Dubey and Udita scored one goal each to help the hosts grab all three points on offer.

However, the overall performance of the Harendra Singh-coached team wasn’t always upto the mark as they missed several chances in open play and penalty corners. Despite that, the coach sounded quite satisfied with the showing.
