INDIAN OIL WILL POWER ASIA ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIP

NEWS Desk Global

IndianOil is making significant strides in the world of motoracing by venturing into the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC), a prestigious event in the motorcycle racing world. Under the STORM brand name, IndianOil will supply superior-grade gasoline for all six rounds of the championship until 2026, making it the first Indian company to fuel an overseas motoracing event.

The ARRC, which began in 1996 and received endorsement from the Federation Internationale de Motorcyclisme (FIM) in 1997, holds significant stature as the Asian continental championship for FIM. It features several open-make classes, including ASB1000 (Asia Superbikes), SuperSports 600cc, Asia Production 250cc, and Underbone 150cc, with the introduction of the new Asian Superbikes class in 2019. This move not only highlights IndianOil's commitment to innovation and excellence but also positions the company as a formidable player in the global motoracing scene. Furthermore, IndianOil's foray into supplying fuel for Formula 1 cars underscores its ambition to compete with established global majors in the Grand Prix circuit, signaling a bold step towards expanding its presence in high-performance motorsports.
