JUSTIN VERLANDER AND GIANTS AGREE TO ONE-YEAR, $15M CONTRACT

The Giants are adding a future National Baseball Hall of Famer to their roster. San Francisco and veteran ace Justin Verlander are in agreement on a one-year contract pending a physical.

After missing out on Corbin Burnes, it appears the Giants pivoted to the three-time AL Cy Young Award winner who will turn 42 next month and has the second-most playoff wins of all time.
