PRELIMINARY 3.9 MAGNITUDE EARTHQUAKE STRIKES NEAR MILLBRAE

A preliminary 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck near Millbrae on Friday evening, according to the United States Geological Survey. The quake occurred about 1.3 miles north-northeast of Millbrae, at a depth of about 8 miles, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The quake hit at 6:38 p.m., the USGS said.
