SECOND BRIDGE ON PANGONG LAKE

Responding to reports of China constructing a second bridge across Pangong Lake — spanning eastern Ladakh and West Tibet — the ministry of external affairs (MEA) on Friday said the concerned structure, alongside an earlier one, is in areas that have continued to be under the illegal occupation of the neighbouring country since the 1960s.
