Sridhar Vembu has stepped down as the chief executive of Zoho Corp to focus more on the research and development of artificial intelligence products. Vembu would take up a new role as the chief scientist, he said in a X post on Monday.

Zoho co-founder Shailesh Kumar Davey has been named as group CEO while Tony Thomas will lead Zoho US and Rajesh Ganesan will head ManageEngine division.
