TANMAY AGARWAL HITS FASTEST TRIPLE-CENTURY IN FIRST-CLASS CRICKET

The Hyderabad batter Tanmay Agarwal hammered an unbeaten 323 off just 160 balls during their Plate Group game in the Ranji Trophy. Tanmay recorded the fastest triple ton of 147 balls in the history of first-class cricket, Marco Marais achieved in first-class cricket by 191 balls for Border against Eastern Province in 2017.
Tanmay broke Virender Sehwag's previous record of 284 runs on the second day of the Brabourne Test against Sri Lanka in 2009. He becoming the first Indian batter to score 300 or more runs in a single day of first-class cricket. Tanmay clobbered 21 sixes and 33 fours in his marathon knock, which powered Hyderabad to 529/1 in 48 overs.
