Widespread power outages are affecting hundreds of thousands of PG&E customers in the Bay Area, with fallen trees and high winds causing havoc on the grid.

PG&E announced that over 600,000 customers across its service area in the state were experiencing power outages, stretching from the California-Oregon state border to Bakersfield. As of 10 a.m. Monday, more than 204,000 PG&E customers in the Bay Area were without power.
