TIGER CONSERVATION EFFORTS HAVE CARBON BENEFITS

The Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, and the National Tiget Convservation Authority conducted a pilot study in 2015 which revealed the economic value of 6 tiger reserves: Co rbett, Kanha, Kaziranga, Periyar, Ranthambore, and Sundarbans to range from 3-17.6 billion rupees annually.
