2026 FIFA WORLD CUP WINNER WILL GET RECORD $50M WITH INCREASE IN TOTAL PRIZE FUND
The winner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup will receive a record jackpot of $50 million, FIFA said Wednesday. That figure is up from $42 million in 2022 and $38 million in 2018. But it is still less than half of what was on offer at the much less-hyped Club World Cup earlier this year. ADRIAN HOUSER AND GIANTS AGREE TO TWO-YEAR CONTRACT
The Giants bolstered their starting rotation on Tuesday. San Francisco agreed to a two-year, $22 million contract with right-handed pitcher Adrian Houser. BAY BRIDGE LIGHT INSTALLATION WILL RETURN IN MARCH
The Bay Bridge light installation is coming back to the landmark after a three-year break. The Bay Lights made their debut in 2013 and twinkled for 10 years on the Bay Bridge before the weather wore them down. Illuminate, the group behind the lights, promised to eventually bring them back.
