Protests are expected at UC Berkeley Monday night as Turning Point USA, the group founded by late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, holds a tour stop on campus. Brandon Aiyuk will not return to practice this week as his status remains “week to week," according to 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan.  “I'm pretty confident that he is going to [play] eventually,” Shanahan told reporters Tuesday. “At least open up his practice window. Quarterback Brock Purdy is scheduled to see an increase in practice time as the 49ers point toward their pivotal NFC West game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Coach Kyle Shanahan said the plan calls for Purdy to continue to push his recovery from a turf toe injury.
