The Kings are bringing a former NBA MVP on board. Sacramento and veteran point guard Russell Westbrook have agreed to a free-agent contract, a source confirmed to NBC Sports California. The contract is one year, worth $3.6 million. It was important for Westbrook, a Los Angeles County native, to stay close to home.
