DIVER FINDS BODY OF 7-YEAR-OLD WHO WAS SWEPT AWAY INTO THE OCEAN IN BIG SUR
The body of the 7-year-old girl who went missing after she was swept away into the ocean in Big Sur has been recovered, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office confirmed. According to the sheriff's office, the body of the 7-year-old was recovered by diver Juan Heredia, of Stockton, at around 1:20 p.m. Sunday. Her body was found roughly 100 yards offshore, and about half a mile north of the child's last known location. Learn More
