CLINTON’S LOSS IN MICHIGAN RAISES SERIOUS QUESTIONS

With the presidential primaries now in full swing, the time for second guessing has long since passed. However, Hillary Clinton’s shocking loss in the Michigan primary, a state that was supposed to be a clean sweep for her, it has become clear that the Democratic race will be close. Leading up to the primary in Michigan, Clinton repeatedly attacked Sanders for his vote against the 2009 bill that would bail out the auto industry. Despite her best efforts, Clinton trailed Sanders with voters who were worried about the economy as well as with voters who wanted to bring jobs back to America. Whether or not Clinton’s struggles in Michigan will translate to an Ohio loss remains to be seen.

OFFICIALS: U.S. AIRSTRIKE MAY HAVE KILLED ISIS LEADER

United States officials are speculating as to whether or not Omar “The Chechen” was killed in an airstrike last Friday. The U.S. State Department has had a $5 million price tag for the capture of “The Chechen”, also known as Abu Omar al-Shishani. Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook said that al-Shishani is one of the most battle tested leaders of ISIS and that his death would mark a significant victory for counter-terrorist forces. Furthermore, “The Chechen” was crucial in recruitment in regions such as Chechnya. Cook believes that, with al-Shishani’s death, ISIS would be severely impaired.
