In the 7th match of the IPL, Delhi Daredevils have mercilessly outplayed Kings XI Punjab to register an 8-wicket victory in Delhi today. Kings XI Punjab could muster only 111 for the loss of nine wickets after being invited to bat first, with Manan Vohra scoring 32. Amit Mishra, the wily legspinner who has not been able to cement a permanent place in the Indian team, destroyed the Kings XI Punjab with a mesmerizing spell of 4 wickets for 11 runs off his three overs. The Delhi Daredevils took a walk in the park in closing the issue for the loss of only two wickets, with opener Quinton de Kock running away with 59 not out off 42 balls. A victory for Delhi Daredevils with 39 balls to spare, it was as comprehensive as it could get. Not surprisingly, Amit Mishra got the Man of the Match award for his deadly spell.
