The Delhi Daredevils have crushed the Gujarat Lions by eight wickets in Rajkot in the 31st match of the Indian Premier League. Put in to bat, Gujarat Lions lost two early wickets, put some middling partnerships with Dinesh Karthik involved in both of them, but never got off the ground and made an underwhelming 149 for 7 wickets. All the Delhi Daredevils bowlers were tidy and did not allow the Gujarat Lions any leeway. In reply, openers Quinton de Kock and Rishabh Pant got off to a flier, put on 115 for the first wicket off 13 overs, and Delhi Daredevils took a walk in the park in reaching their target of 150 in the 18th over for the loss of just two wickets. Rishabh Pant got the Man of the Match award for his 40-ball 69, laced with two sixes and nine boundaries.
