IPL 2016: SEASON 9
Complete carnage and catastrophic destruction in the Royal Challengers versus Gujarat Lions match in Bangalore as AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli rampage 229 off 16 overs at an average of 14.5 runs per over to propel Royal Challengers Bangalore to a massive 144-run victory over Gujarat Lions, in the ongoing Indian Premier League. AB de Villers clattered the Gujarat Lions to all parts of the Chinnaswamy stadium, hitting 12 sixes into the crowd and 10 fours while Virat Kohli showed only a little more mercy on the bowlers, smashing them for 109 off 55 deliveries, with 8 sixes and five fours. Towards the end of the innings, the two most destructive batsmen in the world caned the Gujarat Lions bowlers, hitting Dwayne Bravo for 30 runs and following suit, hitting left armer Shivil Kaushik for 30 runs as well. Shivil Kaushik reminds me of Paul Adams from the 90s, like a frog in a blender. And after scoring 248 for 3 off their 20 overs, the Royal Challengers Bangalore had a field day as the Gujarat Lions folded up for 104, Chris Jordan taking four wickets for 11. If ever there was a more humiliating defeat in a T20 match for a team than the one suffered by Gujarat Lions today, I would like to know from someone about it.
