Krunal Pandya's brutal hitting powers the Mumbai Indians to a massive 80-run victory over the Delhi Daredevils in Vishakapatnam in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League. Krunal Pandya pummeled six sixes and seven fours in his 37-ball knock of 86 as Mumbai Indians soared to a total of 206 for four wickets. Rohit Sharma and Martin Guptill made handy scores of 31 and 48 respectively but they played a supporting role to Krunal Pandya's pyrotechnics. Imran Tahir had the nightmare of his lifetime, giving away 59 runs off his four overs. Reminded me of Mick Lewis's 0 for 113 in the famous 438-South Africa-Australia ODI match. The Delhi Daredevils got nowhere near the winning target, losing their way and collapsing to 126. Mumbai Indians, with this handsome victory are now in the third spot on the points table and sitting pretty while Delhi Daredevils are going down, they are now placed at the fifth spot.
