IPL 2016: SEASON 9

In the ongoing Indian Premier League, in the 49th match of the competition, the Delhi Daredevils put up a shambolic display of batting against the Rising Pune Supergiants in Vishakapatnam today, and lost heavily. Batting first after being inserted in, the Delhi Daredevils aircraft stayed on the ground throughout and failed to take off, running out of fuel at 121 for six wickets. Ashok Dinda was the wrecker-in-chief for the Rising Pune Supergiants, taking 3 for 20 off his four overs. In reply, all that the Rising Pune Supergiants had to do was some commonsense batting and they duly reached 76 for 1 in 11 overs before the match was rained off. The rain intervention meant that the calculators had to be pulled out and the Rising Pune Supergiants proclaimed the winners based on the Duckworth-Lewis calculations. Ashok Dinda was declared the Man of the Match for his deadly spell of bowling.
