HILLARY CLINTON: “RADICAL ISLAMISM”

One of Donald Trump’s main refrains when attacking presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is that she is too politically correct to use the phrase “radical Islamism” when describing confirmed terrorist attacks. Clinton’s response to the criticism? She used the phrase on CNN’s “New Day”. However, the former Secretary of State also emphasized that there should be no distinction between the phrasing that Trump is so fond of and the rhetoric that President Obama uses to discuss these attacks, as they both wish to say the same thing. Clinton’s comments come in the wake of Trump’s accusation after the Orlando attacks, that the reason it is so difficult to combat terror is that President Obama refuses to use “radical Islamism” to describe the problem.
