NIGHTMARE OPENER FOR EURO 2016

The international soccer tournament has been a highly anticipated event for a long time. However, the opening week of the tournament has been marred by violence, highlighted by conflicts between fans at the England v Russia game. As a result, UEFA, the governing body of the Euros, threatened to eject Russia from the tournament if there was more trouble from its fans. Russian forward Artem Dzyuba expressed disappointment with the actions of Russian fans, but emphasized that the focus of this tournament should be football (soccer). He also does not believe that UEFA will enact the ban on his country.
