WARRIORS DENIED TITLE IN GAME 5

Despite the notable absence of Draymond Green, many believe the Warriors should have completed their championship repeat in Game 5 at Oracle Arena. Instead, the Cleveland Cavaliers battled back in impressive fashion, behind 41 points from both Kyrie Irving and Lebron James, taking a 112-97 victory in this do-or-die game. The most notable aspect of this loss came from two-time MVP Stephen Curry, who all but disappeared in this game, going 8 for 21 from the field and just 5 for 14 from the three point line. Steve Kerr said that the Warriors guard looked like he was hurried, whereas Irving was composed throughout, which contributed to his monster night.
