With the salary cap increasing in the NBA, teams are splashing cash to make some incredible deals. Players know that their GM’s now have the money to keep them, so they are taking advantage of that, demanding max deals in exchange for their continued services. One such deal comes in the form of Hassan Whiteside, center for the Miami Heat. Whiteside had an incredible season, garnering interest from several teams. However, with the implementation of the new salary cap, the Heat were able to offer him a $98 million contract.
