DWYANE WADE LEAVES TO THE BULLS

Before we get into this article, a quick update on Euro 2016. It’s halftime right now and France have gone 1-0 up on an Antoine Griezmann penalty after a handball by Bastian Schweinsteiger. However, the big story of sports comes not from the world of soccer, but from that of basketball. The NBA free agency is shaking up the league, with trades happening left and right. The new salary cap allows GM’s to provide players with much higher salaries than before. However, that pay raise did not extend to Dwyane Wade. Heat owner Pat Riley sees the players as parts of a game in which he is the puppetmaster. And he wants to win. Wade is getting older, and Riley was not going to extend a higher offer to him in order to keep him. As such, it became time for the Flash, much like Lebron two years ago, to make his own move away from Miami and back home.
