POKEMON GO SENDS STOCK SKY HIGH

Nintendo rocked the world when they released Pokemon Go, an app that allows users to play Pokemon in real life. Players who download the app and agree to share their location move around their area to find Pokemon, just as they would in the older versions of the game. In order to catch a certain Pokemon, you must go to the exact site where it says that Pokemon is. The game, launched a few days ago, took hold of an incredibly wide audience. Everyone from youngsters who had never played Pokemon before to older people reliving their childhood in a way never experienced before was hooked. The massive success that Pokemon Go experienced caused Nintendo stock to jump a sizable 25%. The gaming company, which had lost some of its “mojo” in recent years, figured out a way to get gamers off the couch and go outside, creating an interactive environment that has an incredibly broad appeal.
