RUDY GIULIANI LASHES OUT AT BLM

In the wake of the Alton Sterling, Philando Castile, and Dallas shootings, police brutality and Black Lives Matter have once again risen to the the forefront of the nation’s problems. As per usual, not everyone is behind the Black Lives Matter movement. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has dubbed the movement ‘racist’, arguing that it forces police officers to shoulder the entire burden for allegedly racially motivated killings. He went on to ask where the protesters were when young black children were killed by other black people in the neighborhoods of Chicago. Giuliani defended his stance, saying that he was not biased against the problems faced by the black community, citing his record as mayor to prove the fact. He said that, as mayor, he put 70 officers in jail, more than any other mayor. Giuliani went on to argue that he appreciated the struggle of the black community, but hoped their attitude towards officers would change.
