TESLA UNVEILS NEW SUV

Tesla’s latest reveal comes in the form of the Model X 60D. It’s cheaper than its predecessors, the 75D and the 90D, with a price tag of $66,500 after the $7,500 of tax breaks from the federal government. However, the 60D’s attractive price tag comes at the cost of mileage. Whereas the 75D and the 90D get 237 and 257 miles per charge (mpc), the 60D sports a 60 kilowatt hour battery which gives it 200 mpc. Despite the mileage disparity, the 60D and the 75D are similar in that they can both go from 0-60 miles per hour in six seconds and top out at 130 miles per hour. Along with the Model 3 and Tesla’s newest iteration of the Model S Sedan, the Model X 60D promises to be quite successful amongst Tesla’s market.
