MAN ALMOST DRIVEN TO SUICIDE BY JOB

Darryl Warren was in a place that is frustratingly familiar for many middle age people. His job has driven him to depression and suicidal thoughts, but he is not yet old enough to retire. Warren worked as a salesman in a BMW dealership. He brought home as much as $70,000 a year. However, as appealing as the job sounds, Warren worked six days a week, sometimes seven. His physical and mental condition began deteriorating. He had back pain and was forced to take anti-depressants and blood pressure medication. In an interview with CNN, Warren said "I don't know if it's illegal the way these companies do it, but it's immoral, they literally work people to death." He quit and now works at a music store part time while living off of his savings. Sadly, Warren’s situation is one that has become increasingly common among the baby-boomers. Many of those who do not have a college degree are considered “unemployable” and struggle to make ends meet.
