KD’S OKC RESTAURANT CLOSES
Kevin Durant’s move to Golden State is one of the most controversial NBA free agent moves in recent memory, barring Lebron’s move to the Miami Heat. His leaving Oklahoma City had a lot of fallout, mainly Russell Westbrook becoming the main man at OKC. However, beyond the basketball arena, many now see Kevin Durant as the weakest player ever, as he joined the team that beat him in the Western Conference Finals. Even more devastating than that, Durant has been forced to close his restaurant in OKC. As a result of his move, KD’s, as the restaurant is called, garnered countless negative reviews on Yelp. The Hal Smith restaurant group, which partnered with Kevin Durant in the endeavor, said that they will be reopening the restaurant soon with a new theme. Perhaps Russell Westbrook will become the new face of Oklahoma City dining.
